Blackberry jam, cocoa powder, orange zest, and warm oak.
Whiskey 2 of 7
Dutch single malt finished in Banyuls dessert wine casks, adding juicy red-fruit depth.
We first poured this after a guest asked for something unusual that still felt indulgent. The Banyuls finish delivered exactly that: rich fruit character without losing the grain backbone. It has since become our favorite "bridge" dram between lighter and heavier pours. In blind flights, it is often guessed as older than 7 years because of its layered, dessert- like richness.
Expect jammy red fruit and cocoa from the wine cask finish, balanced by warm spice and a dry malt structure that keeps the sweetness in check.
